I recently retired from a seven-year dance career with the New York City Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet. I became an apprentice with NYCB at age seventeen and shortly thereafter joined the company, performing its rich and vast repertoire. My performed roles include over one hundred choreographies by George Balanchine, as well as ballets by Jerome Robbins, Peter Martins, Christopher Wheeldon, Alexei Ratmansky, and Benjamin Millepied. I also toured with NYCB, performing in China, Japan, Germany, Denmark, Saratoga Springs (New York), and in Washington, DC at the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Prior to joining NYCB, my formal ballet training included three years of study at the School of American Ballet (New York), two years at the Berrend Dance Center (Maryland), and one year at the Washington School of Ballet (Washington, DC), as well as summer intensives at the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell, San Francisco Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, and the Washington School of Ballet. Private lessons were also essential to my development as a ballet student and professional dancer.

Cross training has been an integral part of my dance career. I am certified in Pilates and am a NSCA Certified Personal Trainer.
